Data We Collect

We collect account and profile information (for example name, email, authentication identifiers), restaurant content you provide (menu text, descriptions, prices, photos, translations, branding), and technical data (IP address, device/browser metadata, logs, request identifiers) needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How We Use Data

We use data to provide the platform, run draft/publish workflows, host public menus, process billing and credits, respond to support requests, maintain security, detect abuse, and analyze performance. We do not sell personal data.

AI Features

When you use AI features (menu extraction, translation, AI edit assistant, dish image generation), relevant prompts, uploaded files, and contextual draft data are sent to AI service providers to generate outputs. These outputs are written to your draft unless you discard them. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data in AI prompts or uploads.

How Data Is Shared

We share data with service providers that help us run Menuese, such as hosting/CDN, database/storage, authentication, payment, and AI providers. We may also disclose data when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We retain data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill legal, tax, security, and operational obligations. Data may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, or request data portability. To exercise rights, contact us at hello@menuese.com.

Children

Menuese is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
